
Ingredients
For the vanilla, brown sugar + cinnamon syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or any vanilla extract you have)
1 tsp cinnamon
For the matcha:
1/4 cup of hot (not boiling) water
1 - 1 1/2 tsp organic, ceremonial grade matcha
3/4 - 1 cup milk of your choice
Preparation
Step 1: make the vaniila, brown sugar + cinnamon syrup
Heat water and cinnamon on medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Add vanilla and cinnamon, stir until well combined. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Step 2: Make the matcha
Whisk hot water, and matcha in a bowl with bamboo whisk or electic handheld frother until well combined, and frothy.
Step 3: Add it all together
Add 1 tbsp of vanilla, brown sugar + cinnamon syrup to a glass/mug, add milk and matcha. Enjoy iced or hot!
