Vanilla, Brown Sugar + Cinnamon Matcha Latte

Ingredients

For the vanilla, brown sugar + cinnamon syrup:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or any vanilla extract you have)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon


For the matcha:

  • 1/4 cup of hot (not boiling) water

  • 1 - 1 1/2 tsp organic, ceremonial grade matcha


  • 3/4 - 1 cup milk of your choice

Preparation

Step 1: make the vaniila, brown sugar + cinnamon syrup

Heat water and cinnamon on medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Add vanilla and cinnamon, stir until well combined. Remove from heat and allow to cool.


Step 2: Make the matcha

Whisk hot water, and matcha in a bowl with bamboo whisk or electic handheld frother until well combined, and frothy.


Step 3: Add it all together

Add 1 tbsp of vanilla, brown sugar + cinnamon syrup to a glass/mug, add milk and matcha. Enjoy iced or hot!
